True Story: We received a request from a Label on a Friday, to put together an online media buy for 11 specific Consumer websites/blogs, plus 1 eBlast associated with another site. We were given a stringent budget, directive that the campaign was to run for no less than 2 weeks, and the ads needed to be live on Tuesday morning (48 hours). In 2 days (Friday & Monday), Web ‘n Retail completed the following to get the campaign running: 1) Negotiated 25% to 66% discounts with 11 Vendors 2) Negotiated prime positioning on 7 of the 11 sites 3) Negotiated 90 day payment terms with 11 Vendors 4) Negotiated download promotions on 3 sites 5) Received sign-off on the buy from the Label 6) Completed & submitted Insertion Orders/P.O.'s 7) Provided all specs & traffic info to Label 8) Late Monday...confirmed all sites received artwork 9) Revamped 3 ads that didn't conform with specs (in absence of the Designer) and got approval from Label 10) Tuesday...checked compliance on sites; contacted 2 sites that positioning was not as promised and got those fixed.
